I. General Terms and Conditions
§ 1 Basic provisions
(1) The following terms and conditions apply to contracts that you enter into with us as a provider (James Hüllenhagen) via the website https://chronosignature.com. Unless otherwise agreed, the inclusion of any terms and conditions used by you is hereby contradicted.
(2) A consumer within the meaning of the following regulations is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly not be attributed to either commercial or self-employed professional activity. A merchant is any natural or legal person or a legally competent partnership that, in concluding a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of its independent professional or commercial activity.
§ 2 Conclusion of the Contract
(1) The subject of the contract is the sale of goods.
Our offers on the Internet are non-binding and not a binding offer to conclude a contract.
(2) You can submit a binding purchase offer (order) via the online shopping cart system. The goods intended for purchase are placed in the "shopping cart". You can call up the "shopping cart" via the corresponding button in the navigation bar and make changes there at any time. After clicking on the button "Checkout" or "Proceed to Order" (or similar designation) and entering your personal information, payment and shipping conditions, the order data will be displayed as an order overview.
Before submitting the order, you have the opportunity to check the information in the order overview again, make changes (also via the "back" function of the Internet browser), or cancel the order. By submitting the order via the corresponding button ("Place Order with Obligation to Pay", "Buy" / "Buy Now", "Order with Obligation to Pay", or similar designation), you submit a binding offer to us.
You will initially receive an automatic e-mail about the receipt of your order, which does not yet result in a contract being concluded.
(3) The acceptance of the offer (and thus the conclusion of the contract) takes place within 2 days by confirmation in text form (e.g. e-mail), in which the execution of the order or delivery of the goods is confirmed to you (order confirmation). If you have not received such a message, you are no longer bound by your order. Any services already rendered will be refunded immediately in this case.
(4) The processing of the order and transmission of all information required in connection with the conclusion of the contract takes place partly by e-mail. You must therefore ensure that the e-mail address you have provided with us is correct, that receipt of e-mails is technically ensured and in particular not blocked by SPAM filters or the like.
§ 3 Right of retention, reservation of ownership
(1) You can only exercise a right of retention if it concerns claims arising from the same contract relationship.
(2) The goods remain our property until full payment of the purchase price.
§ 4 Warranty
(1) There are the legal liability for defects.
(2) As a consumer, you are asked to check the goods for completeness, obvious defects and transport damages immediately upon delivery and to notify us and the carrier of any complaints as soon as possible. If you do not do so, this will not affect your legal warranty rights.
(3) If a characteristic of the goods deviates from the objective requirements, the deviation is only deemed to have been agreed if you were informed of it by us before making the declaration of contract and the deviation was explicitly and separately agreed between the contracting parties.
§ 5 Choice of law
(1) German law applies. This choice of law only applies to consumers to the extent that it does not withdraw the protection granted by mandatory provisions of the law of the state of the consumer's habitual residence (principle of favorability).
(2) The provisions of the UN Sales Law do not apply.
§ 6 Youth protection
(1) When selling goods that fall under the provisions of the Youth Protection Act, we only enter into contract relationships with customers who have reached the legally required minimum age. Existing age restrictions are referred to in the respective article description.
(2) By sending your order, you certify that you have reached the legally required minimum age and that your information regarding your name and address is correct. You are obligated to ensure that only you yourself or those persons authorized by you to receive the delivery, who have reached the legally required minimum age, receive the goods.
(3) If we are obliged by the legal provisions to carry out an age control, we instruct the logistics service provider commissioned with the delivery to deliver the goods only to persons who have reached the legally required minimum age and, if in doubt, to request the identification document of the person receiving the goods for age control.
(4) If we indicate in the respective article description that you must have completed the 18th year of life in order to purchase the goods, the above paragraphs 1-3 apply, with the proviso that instead of the legally required minimum age, majority must apply.

- Contract language, contract text storage
3.1. Contract language is German.
3.2. We do not store the complete contract text. Before submitting the order via the online shopping cart system, the contract data can be printed or electronically saved using the print function of the browser. After we receive the order, the order data, the legally required information for distance selling contracts, and the General Terms and Conditions will be sent to you again by email.

The essential features of the goods and/or services can be found in the respective offer.
- Prices and payment modalities
5.1. The prices listed in the respective offers and the shipping costs represent total prices. They include all components of the price, including all applicable taxes.
5.2. The applicable shipping costs are not included in the purchase price. They can be accessed via a designated button on our website or in the respective offer and are separately shown during the ordering process. They are to be borne by you, unless the delivery with free shipping is promised.
5.3. The payment methods available to you are indicated under a designated button on our website or in the respective offer.
5.4. Unless otherwise specified for the individual payment methods, the payment claims from the concluded contract are due for payment immediately.
- Delivery conditions
6.1. The delivery conditions, delivery date, and any delivery restrictions can be found under a designated button on our website or in the respective offer.
6.2. If you are a consumer, it is legally regulated that the risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the sold item during shipment only passes to you with the delivery of the goods, regardless of whether the shipment is insured or not. This does not apply if you independently commission a transport company not named by the trader or another person designated to carry out the shipment.
